Cycle 4 Hymns to Sing and Study

We sing hymns at STAR Homeschool Community every week. You can also sing hymns at home! In our home, we sing two hymns per day. If we sing all of these hymns over the four cycles of the GLC curriculum, our family will learn more than one hundred hymns. Little by little, it adds up!

Hymns to Sing at Home

This is the list of hymns to be sung at home during this cycle, and a schedule of which hymns to sing each week is below (the PDF).

  1. For the Beauty of the Earth
  2. Eternal Father Strong to Save
  3. Holy God, We Praise Thy Name
  4. What Can Wash Away My Sin (Nothing But the Blood)
  5. It is Well with My Soul
  6. Jesus Paid it All
  7. Come Thou Almighty King
  8. My Jesus, I Love Thee
  9. O Come, O Come, Emmanuel
  10. O Little Town of Bethlehem
  11. While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks
  12. The First Noel
  13. O Come All Ye Faithful
  14. Amazing Grace
  15. The Old Rugged Cross
  16. The God of Abraham Praise
  17. Jesus, I My Cross Have Taken
  18. My Faith Looks Up to Thee
  19. Thine Be the Glory
  20. O the Deep, Deep Love of Jesus
  21. Day By Day
  22. He Leadeth Me
  23. Abide with Me
  24. How Great Thou Art
  25. Nearer My God to Thee
  26. When the Roll is Called Up Yonder
  27. Battle Hymn of the Republic
  28. Blessed Assurance

Download the syllabus and sing hymns with your children as many days of the week as you are able:

I have scheduled two hymns per week for twenty eight weeks for families who participate in a community.
